About the venue
Břevnov Monastery in Prague, the oldest male monastery in Bohemia founded in 993 by St. Adalbert, offers historic venues for wedding ceremonies. This Benedictine Archabbey in Prague's Břevnov district allows for both church weddings in St. Margaret's Church and civil ceremonies. For civil weddings, historic monastery halls such as the Theresian Hall or Prelature, or the monastery garden, are available. The monastery grounds also offer options for wedding receptions, for example in the Theresian Hall or the Klášterní šenk Monastery Restaurant. Guests can use accommodation at Hotel Adalbert directly on site and parking.
