2. Legal framework

We process personal data mainly under:

• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR),
• Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing,
• Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications in the part dealing with cookies and similar technologies.

3. What data we process

• Account and sign-in data: e-mail, basic profile data, sign-in identifiers, and session identifiers.
• Planning data: information you enter into the service, such as guests, RSVP, budget, tasks, seating, or wedding website content.
• Communication data: information from contact, inquiry, and onboarding forms.
• Media: photographs and videos uploaded through the service.
• Payments: Premium transaction status and transaction identifiers; card data is processed directly by Stripe.
• Technical and operational data: IP address, user agent, device information, and security logs.
• Analytics data after consent: measurement events about website usage, dashboard activity, and important product flows.
• Marketing data after consent: pseudonymous marketing events for campaign measurement and remarketing.

4. What analytics events we measure

If you allow analytics cookies, we mainly measure:

• traffic and navigation on the website,
• clicks on links, buttons, and CTAs,
• scroll depth and engaged time,
• form submissions without the contents of free-text fields,
• dashboard activity, catalog interactions, and Premium checkout steps,
• visitor interaction with the public wedding website.

We do not send free-text field contents or direct identifiers such as name or e-mail to analytics tools.

5. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data mainly for:

• providing the service and customer support,
• security, fraud prevention, and system stability,
• analytics and product improvement based on consent,
• marketing measurement based on consent,
• compliance with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax obligations.

6. Processors and recipients

We share data only with vetted processors who help us operate the service. This usually includes:

• Vercel for hosting and infrastructure,
• Supabase for database and authentication,
• Google Analytics for web analytics after consent,
• Meta Pixel / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for marketing measurement after consent,
• Stripe for Premium payments,
• Resend for transactional e-mails,
• Cloudflare R2 for media storage.

7. Cookies, analytics, and consent

• Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, and our first-party event log run only after analytics consent.
• Meta Pixel runs only after marketing consent.
• We store the consent choice in the svatbik_consentcookie and also keep a server-side audit record for compliance purposes.
• You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.

8. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, especially in the United States. In such cases, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention

• account and planning data are retained for the duration of the account and as long as needed to protect legal claims,
• communication and inquiry records are retained for the duration of the request and related follow-up,
• operational and security logs are retained as necessary for security, diagnostics, and protection of the service,
• consent records are retained as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.

10. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
