Hrad Houska

Houska Castle, also known as the Gate to Hell, is located in the picturesque Kokořínsko region. This magnificent historical monument was built on the site of an original 9th-century stronghold in the late Romanesque style. The castle is shrouded in many mysteries and attracts visitors with its unique atmosphere. Two roads lead to the castle, from Blatce (or Tubož) and from Kruh. Visitors can park in a large parking lot approximately 700 meters from the castle. From there, it's a pleasant ten-minute walk to the castle gate.
