About the venue
Lemberk Chateau is a pearl of early Baroque architecture, originally a 13th-century Gothic castle, gradually rebuilt into a Renaissance and then early Baroque chateau. Its rich history is reflected in interiors such as unique Baroque stucco decoration, the original Zdislava's room, the knight's hall, the black kitchen, and the 19th-century Clam-Gallas apartment. Among the most interesting rooms is the Fable Hall with a wooden painted ceiling from the early 17th century. Wedding ceremonies at Lemberk Chateau take place in the Chateau Chapel of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, from April to October during visiting hours. Both civil and church ceremonies are possible. The chapel offers 24 seats and approximately 30 standing places, with additional seating in the choir on the second floor. A rare Baroque organ positive from 1723 can be used during the ceremony.
